I've had two pairs of these scissors since 2008 and they are the best I have ever used for cutting fabric when doing appliques. They are also good for cutting jump threads on embroidery projects. I bought two more so I can have the two I have now sharpened and have these two to use in the meantime. I'm lost without them. It's hard to find the 6 inch double curved. The 4 inch just doesn't work as well for me.

I am so glad I purchased this sweet pair of embroidery scissors! I use them to trim threads while machine embroidering and also for regular machine sewing. They offer a close trim or a simple cut. Excellent quality. Not too lightweight but not heavy at all. Very, very sharp! Watch your little pinkies!! I won't tell you how I know...
