I just received this thread have not tested it, yet. I was a little unhappy because I originally tried to order thread that had coordinating color numbers for Brother but for some reason it was moved from my cart to saved so I choose this instead. After searching for some brand that matches the color numbers I think I've unraveled the mystery. The number appear to coordinate with Marathon Polyester. Here is a thread conversion chart. [...] . The site I found is threadchart dot info (just in case the link didn't post).
I gave this a four star because the colors are beautiful and I'm trusting it works as well for me as for others. Minus a star for the mystery color chart numbers. In retrospect, I would order fewer colors which contained more thread per spool.
UPDATE: I have finished a project using this thread and it sewed beautifully. No problems with the thread and it is great. However, the color chart is not much help. It gives four colors as possible matches for Brother thread, however all, sometimes none of those colors are included in the set. Also, a couple of colors are wrong on the chart. I do still believe these are the corresponding numbers for this thread. If you like to choose your own colors, this is the thread for you. There are enough colors that you can find a substitute for any color listed.

Very nice threads. Bright colors. I use them for accent as they are so bright. But they are not as strong or thick as the Isacord and Madera threads. Good value for the price.

What can you say a great deal for some good thread that you can find other places but this was a good price.
