I purchased these very hesitantly. I thought I'd be wasting my money, but I love varigated threads so I gave it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised! The spools aren't huge, but they really don't skimp on the amount. The colors are beautiful and they really make any project pop.

The thread itself is very nice, and embroiders beautifully in my machine. If I were just rating the thread alone, it would be 5 stars. The problem is that the spools are wrapped in cellophane that is VERY difficult to get off the spool. Once the spool is unwrapped, the end of the thread is buried down the middle, and tangled around outer layers of thread, making it necessary to pull off a huge hunk just to get the spool started. This was the case with 35 of the 40 spools.

I was hesitant after reading the reviews here to buy this product but the price got me to try it. The shipping was super fast even though it did not qualify for Prime, it was at my door in two days. The spools are all individually wrapped but they are not hard to get into as one reviewer stated, nor is it difficult to get the thread loose. The threads are high quality and are beautiful colors. It is a quality similar to Sulky at a much lower cost. I love this thread and will buy it again.
